I think this will help everybody if all the spinners chimed in and posted their resume ( We all know that in between morning and night we must brush when we can. But for those spinners that work jobs that wont allow it nor does it give itself to wearing a du-rag readers would like to know what do you do.
tools: dax(orange can), medium brush, hard brush, 2 stocking caps, and a du-rag
system: at night while in the shower i use a medium brush and brush while im in the shower, every 3 days i use the wash and wave(it takes the dax out my head with no problem) being sure to brush the shampoo out in the same direction that i brush my hair. this does two things.1.makes sure the shampoo gets to all of the stuff thats building up in my head and 2. continues to train my hair to form its natural wave pattern. once out of the shower i blot dry my hair with a towel to be sure not to disturb the flow of my hair. I then use the carrot oil to soften my hair even more. brush it in and then i apply the dax. i brush some more. At this point my hair is actually looking like it has a kit or something in it because the dax lays it down flat, but it is wavy. Next I apply the 2 stocking caps and then du-rag. and then im counting sheep
In the morning i put on my clothes and then remove the rag and caps. i inspect my hair. the dryness overnight sometimes causes it to look unwavy and old but a quick application of carrot oil and another brushin and 30 minutes of stocking caps has everyone around me at work sea sick. And I dont even work on a boat, much less near any water.
