Anoris William – Nov 2014

Anoris has been grinding forever but really stepped it up this month. His first share was back in July of 2013, so he was definitely due to win Wave King. He went head to head in this month’s wave battle and ended up with the crown!

Wavebuidler: How long have you had waves?

Anoris William: I’ve been wearing this style on & off since 7th grade.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

AW: So I’m going to let the secret out. Brushing, compressing & keeping my hair healthy.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

AW: Wave butter & the seamless durag.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

AW: Dianes, or any pure boar bristle brush. I try to brush at least twice a day. Anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

AW: If not brushing or working, you can definitely catch me spending a lot of time with my family. If I find the time, you can catch me drawing a thing or two.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

AW: Not just girls but everyone seems to be fascinated with the unique pattern of my waves. They always get thumbs up compliments.

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?

AW: To new wavers I would say, stay focused and dedicated to the craft. Taking pics or videos to log their progress is a key method to getting results faster. When in doubt you have tons of instructional material all over the web.

WB: How’s it feel to be WAVE KING?

AW: One word, Great!
