Chais Munee – March 2018

Chais is a dedicated waver, brushing over an hour every day to get those perfect connections.  Congratulations to our March King!

Wavebuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

Chais Munee: In 2012 I started waving. Had a 360ish/540ish pattern. Then I took a break and started back getting serious with waving in 2017.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

CM: My method is just brushing, moisturizing and ragging up. I do a lot of shower brushing as well. I literally brush for maybe 15 or 20 minutes about 4 times a day.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

CM: I use the Lado Pro (medium hard), the O.G Diane (medium) and the Annie (soft) brush the most. I don’t wolf past 6 weeks so I don’t use any hard brushes.

WB: What are your favorite wave products?

I use Ill Butter a lot. It’s an all around product and my hair loves it. I use SMW durags and monsoon caps foot the compression I need.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

CM:  I’m a family man first. Very big on it. I like to drive mini bikes, travel and hang out. Wherever the fun is, that’s where I want to be.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?
CM: Idk what the girls like, but my wife loves the flow of them. She enjoys rubbing my hair and she talks about the ripples she feels. She even brushes my hair at times.

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?
CM: Advice? This isn’t just a lifestyle, it’s a hobby. Have patience and soak up all the info you can. Figure out what’s for you. Don’t get into the hype of things. It’s not about that.. It’s about you and your journey…It’s what you make it. Just HAVE FUN doing it!

WB: How does it feel to be wave king?
CM: I finally got that BLUE BANNER!! Being a King feels GREAT. I earned this title by self educating, watching and being a part of a big community. Thanks to my SQUAD 1WN for showing me love and keeping my motivation on 1000…We in the building! Shout out to Howlin for helping me stay focused as well. Thank you again Wavebuilder for given wavers a platform to showcase our journey and to help educate others and steer them in a wavy direction. I’M A KING!
