Enrique Tres – Nov 2011

Enrique Tres “Wave Helper” is this month’s WaveBuilder Wave King! Congrats Enrique!

A long time member of the WaveBuilder community, he is one of our most vocal wavers on the page, sharing his knowledge & truly living up to the name “wave helper”.

WB: How long have you had 360 waves?

Enrique: I started the process of getting waves in 2000, after I saw the movie “The Best Man” and Morris Chestnut first came on the screen with waves and the ladies went nuts. From then on I knew I wanted waves.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?
Enrique: I have tried many methods but my favorite would be moisturize day and night and have at least 4-6 twenty minute brushing sessions a day, and wash your hair 2 times a week, BUT THE KEY IS BRUSHING.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?
Enrique: My favorite WaveBuilder products are the Natural Shea and Cocoa products.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?
Enrique: Currently I am brushing with a Dian 8159 and Crimson Red Soft Bristle by Crown brushes and I use them every day, first thing in the morning and during the day and at night.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?
Enrique: Beside building my waves, I go to the gym, work, hang with family and friends make good memories with the people I love.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?
Enrique: The ladies love the softness and non-greasy feel of my hair and the pattern and the smell of my hair.

WB: Any advice to guys just starting out with their wave game?
Enrique: For new comers to waving, BE PATIENT AND DO YOUR RESEARCH ON PRODUCTS AND STAY DEDICATED TO IT, IT IS NOT FOR THE WEAK MINDED. Try to limit your usuage of synthetic oils in your hair and be creative with some of your mixes. Remember moisturize before any pomades.

WB: How’s it feel to be a WAVE KING!?
Enrique: Getting Wave King feels great, another thing to add to my LIFE resume. I am proof of patience and dedication to the wave game.

Congrats, Enrique!
