FAQs on Wolfing
Wolfing is an important process in achieving the best waves. However, a lot of people do not understand the importance. It’s usually known as “something you just have to do.” A good example of this is when people wolf their hair for 8 weeks then question why their not seeing results when they’ve forgotten the most important step, brushing. People think when you cut all your hair, during the wolfing process, waves will magically appear. This is not as easy as it sounds. Wolfing is the toughest part to achieving waves but that is why I am here to help!
FAQ’s on Wolfing
Q: How long should I wolf?
A: There is no set time period! Wolf as long as you can or however long you feel you need to. This usually depends on how fast your hair grows.
Q: How do I better my connection when wolfing?
A: I tell everyone to use a rat tail comb when wolfing, it’s better than using a soft brush (Trust me). For the best results, comb the same way you would brush.
Q: What product should I use when wolfing?
A: I can’t tell you what products to put in your hair because what works for me may not work for you. However, I do suggest you try Coco and Shea wave better. Everyone who has used this product said it worked well. I also recommend staying away from pomades because it’s harder to get out, especially, when you’re wolfing. Try to stay with the light product such as the wave butter and/or spin’n classic.
Q: How much product should I throw in while wolfing?
A: I would suggest doubling up on products when you’re wolfing because your hair becomes twice as thick hence would needs twice as much product.
Q: How do I make my waves deeper when I’m wolfing?
A: To make them deeper, switch up your brushes. The hard brush is the only way you will make them deeper.
Q: why are my waves going away when I’m at the end of my wolfing process?
A: IT’S TIME FOR A HAIR CUT! Your waves are under the hair on the top and when you cut it you will see them again. It happens to a lot of people.
