WaveBuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

360Jeezy:  I’ve been waving ever since I was in 8th grade on and off. But I recently started waving at the end of December 2012, that’s when I took it seriously.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

360Jeezy: The method that I do most is the hot towel method, I wet a face-towel, wring it out, put it in the microwave for 2  1/2 min, take it out, put it on my head till it stops steaming. I take it off, brush for another until it dries.  I apply a little more grease and do the same thing with my face-towel, but this time I DON’T brush till it dries, I brush just to lay it down… I wet my Durag, put it on along with another Durag (this one is dry) and I’m ready for bed.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

360Jeezy: Well I like Cocoa & Shea Wave Butter. I like it because its not too heavy, it smells great and it adds nice shine to my hair.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

360Jeezy: The brushes I use are Crown Quality Products (CQP). I use the Medium, Soft and Premium brushes. I use these brushes to get waves… And the brushes I use to define my waves and to get my connection right are the Diane 8169, 8119, 8159. I brush 24/7, any time I have time…. If my hands are free I’m brushing my hair. It’s like a habit to me, I just love brushin my hair!

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

360Jeezy: Well besides Building Waves I like to do a lot… I love to cut hair.. I actually cut my own hair–you can check that out on my YouTube channel: 360Jeezy. I love to draw, play basketball, sing/write, I’m in my church choir as a tenor–shout-out to my church members of Revival Center. I like to dance, I’m an assistant coach for a football league… I do it all.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

360Jeezy:  Well my fiancée loves my waves…. As you guys seen, you guys shared my picture of me and my fiancée multiple times.. She loves how they feel, she loves how neat they look, and she loves the fact when we go out in public she knows her man’s hair is looking right! She loves my confidence with them.

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?

360Jeezy: My advice to new wavers is to stay consistent with your brushing strokes, make sure you put the time in when it comes to brushing your hair and be patient…. Waves don’t come easy you have to be dedicated and wait for them to form. You can’t rush quality!

WB: How’s it feel to be WAVE KING?

WaveBuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

Ken-wavey Anthony: I have had 360 waves for a little over a year.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

KA: Method is hot water, brush it out with medium brush then apply the wave butter then brush it in with medium then brush with soft brush.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

KA: Brushing Oil, Brush in Waves and Wave Butter are my favorite products

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

KA: I use crown quality brushes and I have at least 2 brushing sessions a day and then brush during the day with soft brush.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

KA: I play golf, and just recently graduated with a finance degree from Cal State San Bernardino

KA: The feel of them and knowing how much work I put into the waves

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?

KA: Advice for wavers, don’t expect to get waves fast, and don’t expect them to be 360′s if you don’t brush a lot

WB: How’s it feel to be WAVE KING?

It feels awesome! Accomplishing something that you’ve been envying (In a good way) other wavers achieving, and I’ve always wanted that notoriety and the feeling of being known as a Wave King! Thank you WaveBuilder!!

Wave King Watley has been spinning hard for years. After patiently battling with fellow wavers, he achieved his goal in March 2013.

WaveBuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

Watley SpinCycle Petit-Frere: I’ve been waving since 2009. But really started taking it seriously when I found the Facebook waving community.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

WPF: Brush like a mad man lol. But seriously I generally try to keep my hair moisturized and brush as often as possible. Particularly at night before bed. I try to put in at least an hour worth of brushing a day for progress.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

WPF: My favorites are the Cocoa and Shea Pomade, and Wave Butter. I also love the the du rags.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

WPF: I have a collection of 14 brushes consisting of Wav enforcer, CQP and Dianes. My faves are the CQP soft ceasar and Diane 8119. I brush at least 3 times a day.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

WPF: I’m currently in school to become a professional barber. I love making people look and feel good.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

WPF: Most can’t believe that they’re real and once I explain how I got them, they can’t believe a man cares that much about their hair. But generally the reaction is positive.

WB: How’s it feel to be WAVE KING?

WPF: It’s amazing. Becoming Wave King has been a goal of mine for some time now. And to achieve it is very gratifying. But now I want to do it again next with a new pattern. I want to be the first to become king as 360 waver and then again as a 720 waver. Thank you.

WaveBuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

Racheal: Next month will be a year i have been waving.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

RB: Great shampooing warm/hot water rinse a great moisturizer, comb session, a brush session and rag up.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

RB:  Wavebuilder Seamless and V Front Durag and Wave Butter

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

RB: I use nothing but Dianes and i brush twice a day, before and after bed.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

RB: I like to draw, design and paint.

WB: What do others love about your waves?

RB: They love my beehive and how uniform i have my connections as well as my waves shine.

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?

RB:  Stay dedicated and have patience. An impatient waver will never succeed. So don’t be a failure and stay true to your game!

WB: How’s it feel to be the first WAVE QUEEN!?

The first Wave King of 2013 is Joseph Ultimateless Raphael.  Jo has been offering waving tips for months. He was a top contender in December and is now King.

WB: How long have you had 360 waves? 
JR: I have been waving since April, but got serious in June.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method? 

JR: Combing, Hard Brush, then slow session with the soft brush. I also use the plastic bag method, the hot towel and cold towel for products.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products? 

JR: I love Spin’n Classic, and Wave Butter, as well as all of the WaveBuilder durags and wave caps.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

JR: I use crown quality brushes and dianes….. I usually brush for 30 minutes a day , at least 3 times a day.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

JR: I enjoy weightlifting, political debating, and writing poetry.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

JR: Girls love the depth my waves have and tend to rub them without warning.

WB: Any advice to guys just starting out with their wave game?

JR: I would say that the wave game holds a lot of dedication, consistency, and hard work. For those in a sport, or school club or event would understand what I am talking about. Waves can be gotten by simple matters, but takes great dedication to be mastered. So if you have time to spare, you will see steady results.

WB: How’s it feel to be a WAVE KING!?

JR: It feels great that my hard work is recognized and that I have nowhere to go from here but up.

The last Wave King for 2012 is Pshell Threesixt.  Pshell won a three-way competition for King and got over 50% of the votes. Pshell is dedicated to helping wavers, and offers tips first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

WaveBuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

Pshell Threesixt:  I’ve had 360 wave since 2008

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

PT: My method is fairly simple. Medium brush for 5 minute, apply hot towel to my hair, apply my product(s), soft brush 5-10 minutes, then apply my durag
WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

PT: My favorite WaveBuilder products are Cocoa and Shea Pomade and WaveButter bc they do exactly what they’re supposed to.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

PT:  Currently I’m using a Cqp medium brush and a Brushing Strokes soft 217501. The brushin strokes brush is definitely my favorite brush, that’s until the Armadillo Wave Brush comes out.  I use my brush every morning, night and whenever I have time to brush

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

Other than Waving I like to spend time with my children and family, play Xbox, and listen to loud car systems

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

PT: My girl loves how smooth my waves look at a low cut

WB: Any advice to guys just starting out with their wave game?

PT: If I can give new waver advice id say stay dedicated to your waves because the best things in life are earned not given to you

WB: How’s it feel to be a WAVE KING!?

PT: It feels great to be WaveKing! Its almost like having my birthday over again

Lee Ahmed: I’ve had 360 Waves since 2001, I started out with spin’n classic

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

LA: My Wavebuilding method is very simple–moisturize twice, have at least 5-10 minute brushing sessions a day, and wash hair 2 times a week.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

LA:  My favorite WaveBuilder Product is spin’n classic.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

LA: I use Crown brushes, and I brush whenever i have free time on my hands.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

LA: Besides building Waves I like to play Basketball and collect shoes.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

LA: Well I don’t know about girls but my wife is the reason why I got my waves back, she loves them.

WB: Any advice to guys just starting out with their wave game?

LA:  It feels great, I believe I’m the only African born WaveKing. it’s an honor to mentioned as one of the best wavers around the world.

WaveBuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

NW:  I’ve been waving for 4 years, but started to take them seriously when I found the WaveBuilder Page on facebook. I was young at the time, so I believed that I was the waviest human in the world… until I found this page.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

NW: I have over 20 videos on youtube regarding 360 waves. The easiest method to achieve 360 waves is to BRUSH. Other than that I like to do the shower brushing method which I have a video for. It gives my waves that “wet” look.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

NW: I started using WaveBuilder products about 2 months ago. I could never find them in stores out here in Toronto, but I ran into them in a store and had to pick up a few. My favorite product will definitely have to be Edgetastic. I like this product because it strengthens my hard-to-waves spots (CROWN) and holds down my hair. I can easily say that Edgetastic got my crown started.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

NW: The only brushes I use are CrownQualityProducts. These brushes truly are the BEST. It makes it so much easier to brush your hair; it just gets everything done faster. Shoutout to CQP for making the greatest brush ever. I brush my hair 3000-5000 strokes a day…..roughly.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

NW: I enjoy living a positive life, helping others and supporting people who are chasing their dreams with dedication on their side. I like to play basketball, workout, travel, spend time with family and brush my hair.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

NW: Most dudes out here in Toronto either have long hair or rocking the naps. Girls like my waves because it’s a clean, professional look. They like the shine and the bumpy ride when touched.

WB: Any advice to guys just starting out with their wave game?

NW: Brushing is not the key to getting waves; DEDICATION is. People tend to quit brushing their hair when they don’t see results in 2 days. You have to keep at it. You can’t get huge muscles in 2 days, it takes time and effort, and you also have to adjust your lifestyle to make sure whatever you do is beneficial for your goal.

WB: How’s it feel to be a WAVE KING!?

NW: I’ve been on the WaveBuilder page for over a year now and it’s crazy how I’ve finally won. I made a goal last October, and kept at it. This is a great accomplishment for me because there were many times where I wanted to quit, but something kept pulling me back. The fact that I wanted to be a winner and not a loser pushed me to continue pursuing my goal. No matter how much hate I received; from family, friends, I still stuck with it and now I am the WaveKing.
