James Norman – Sept 2011

Meet James Norman, the WaveBuilder Wave King for September 2011. James is from the Bronx, New York.

Though he has been working on his wave game for only a year, his waves were the standout among some tough competition this month.

WB:  How long have you had 360 waves?
James:  I have had waves for 1 year now and its been a fun experience.

WB:  What is your wavebuilding method?
James:  My wave building method is simple. In the morning I use a hot towel to open up my pores and then I start to brush. At night is when I do my most work on my head. I brush in the shower and then I brush when I get out.

WB:  What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?
James:  My favorite wave builder product is spinnin classic because it has good hold and adds nice shine.

WB:  What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?
James:  I use the Diane series of brushes and Wave enforcer brushes. I brush a lot in the day. When im at school I would brush but I mainly brush at night and in the morning.

WB:  Besides building waves, what do you like to do?
James:  I also like to play basketball and many other sports.

WB:  What do girls love about your waves?
James:  The girls love my hair. They love the connection and deepness. A lot of them even ask me to feel my hair. I also sometimes get some numbers and facebooks.

WB:  Any advice to guys just starting out with their wave game?
James:  My advice to all the wavers is just stay dedicated. They will come. Everyones hair is different. If your having trouble with a part of your head just double the brushing.

WB:  How’s it feel to be a WAVE KING!?
James: It feels great to be wave king. I feel that all my hard work has paid off.
