Lamont Wavy Williams – May 2015

Lamont has been actively pursuing #waveking for months, and May is his time to shine! His first battle for the top spot came in the beginning of the year. He stayed dedicated and has now received his crown!

Wavebuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

Lamont Wavy Williams: I’ve been having waves for 2 years….

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

LWW: My method is the hot towel method. I get a towel as hot as I can get it, put over my head and let the steem soften up my hair. Then I put a lil bit of Ripple Cream in my hair, comb for 10 min then brush for 30min. Then I rag up. The next day In the morning I will do the comb and lay method by Young Wavy.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

LWW: I use an OG Diane 8159 that’s broken in so that it’s my soft/med brush and I use a new Diane 8159 for my hard brush

WB:¬†What’s your favorite Wavebuilder product?

LWW: Favorite WaveBuilder products are Ripple Cream & Edgetastic. Them products really work if you read the directions and use them right.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

LWW: Besides building waves I like being a promoter in Tacoma WA and I like all sports and love being a father to my lil girls.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

LWW: All the girls like how they make them nauseated and sea sick but only my fiance can ride the waves!

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?

LWW: When starting out find your own wave lane and stick with it. Don’t get caught up in all the fancy expensive products… you don’t need $20 moisturizers and $20 pomades and $40 brushes that curve, contour, slant. To get waves u can get the same results with Ripple Cream are sporting waves that’s under $5 and a Diane brush that’s under $10. You can get the same results. Not saying the expensive stuff is no good just saying u don’t have to have just because most wavers are using it get your pattern first. Then u can do whatever are use whatever but if you can afford it by all means… I REPRESENT THE WAVERS ON A BUDGET.

WB: How’s it feel to be Wave King?

LWW: LOL it feels good to be the first WAVEKING FROM HILLTOP TACOMA WA. I wanna give thanks to my higher power for giving me a full head of hair. Without that I don’t think it would be possible hahaha. It was a tuff wave journey, I had my ups and downs, but right now I’m feeling goooooooddd nobody can tell me “NOTHING.”

And to all the upcoming wavers I just started a YouTube channel so I can pass the wave game on to other please go check out some of my tips all wavers welcome thanks
