Nana Tutu Amoako: For about 3 yrs now. I started with 360 for a year and shifted to the swirl 2 years now.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

NTA: The wash and style method is my wavebuilding method and a healthy hair style

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

NTA: Initially I was using ordinary brushes made here in Ghana. Until recently, about 2 months ago, I got Royalty brush from the states. I brush twice a day. 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in thee evening.

WB: What are your favorite wave products?

NTA: The sportin pomade (black Can) had been my favorite from day one. I’m not saying it’s the best but that is all that I get here and it’s working for me.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

NTA: Aside from waving, I’m a teacher and love to impart knowledge to children.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

NTA: Girls love ma waves and I always get compliments from them.

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?

NTA: My advice to other wavers is they should have respect for each other. If they want to be Elite, they shouldn’t be lazy. Being committed and patient must be their hallmark.

WB: How does it feel to be wave king??

NTA: I feel proud to be among the kings.
