Phil Green YungBatman – Jan 2018

Phil Green YungBatmanOur first #waveking of 2018 has been campaigning hard–sharing great tips and photos for months. January is his time to shine! Congratulations Yung Batman!

WB: How long have you had 360 waves?

Yung Batman: I’ve been waving for a year and a half. I shifted my pattern from 360 to 720 within that time.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

YB: Key method: Learning your texture and porosity. Allowing your hair to grow at a long length to create deeper waves. Continue to brush and compress.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

YB: I use Royalty brushes and Torino brushes. I brush 2 to 3 times a day.

WB: What are your favorite wave products?

YB: My favorite wave products are oils.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

YB: Outside of waving, I enjoy fitness training

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

YB: They like the texture and are impressed that I take care of my hair.

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?

YB: Stay patient, learn your hair texture and porosity. Focus on keeping your hair healthy. Decide on a pattern and stick to it.

WB: How does it feel to be wave king??

YB: It’s a great feeling to get crowned king. Salute to everyone that supported me. I give God all the glory. Salute to my squad New Wave Order.
