Rod Tee — Nov 2016

Rod Tee is a new waver but he has progressed rapidly. Just 4 months after starting his wave journey, he was crowned Wave King. We think this is a new record!

Wavebuilder: How long have you had 360 waves?

Rod Tee: I started my wave journey in July 2016. After 8 years of dreadlocks, I decided to try waving out.

WB: What is your wavebuilding method?

RT: My wave building method is brushing every day in the mirror & brushing my entire head the same exact way every time I have a brush session.

WB: What are your favorite WaveBuilder products?

RT: My favorite Wavebuilder products are the durags and stocking caps, great for training my hair to lay down.

WB: What kind of brush do you use, and how many times a day do you brush?

RT: I use Torino pro brushes mainly and I brush at least 1 hour daily, if not more.

WB: Besides building waves, what do you like to do?

RT: I like to soak up knowledge about my hair and new methods to train my hair to progress faster.

WB: What do girls love about your waves?

RT: The ladies love the waves. They love how soft they are to the touch.

WB: Any advice to wavers just starting out with their wave game?

RT: My advice, get a medium brush, then develop a routine to ensure you brush daily and stick to it. No excuses.

WB: How’s it feel to be Wave King?

RT: It feels great to be wave king, I posted tips and improved my waves all month, and to be crowned was a great accomplishment this early in my wave journey. Thanks again.
